Raymarine Rudder Reference Unit problem

For want of better autopilot control in lumpy sea, I installed a new Rudder Ref Unit to my ST4000+ MKII Wheel Pilot. Problem is even after setting to "Steering Bar" in the User Setup, I don't see the bar in Standby Display.
Changing to "Rudder Bar" didn't help either. The Ref Unit is correctly installed and mechanical alignment triple checked to be ok. I wrote to Raymarine for answer but doubt I'll get response within days. So any experience sailor out there can help ?

Ok, problem solved. Raymarine replied with instruction.
In Dealer Setup, select Tiller mode and save, Then go back and select Wheel mode and save. This reset the ST4000+ unit and viola! the rudder ref unit works.
