Roller Furling Maintenance

I have a Hood System Seafurl 2 roller furling.
Does it just get a good washing or does it also need to be lubricated.
I know nothing about RF, obviously.

If, after you have:

a) cleaned the furling mechanism with detergent and water
b) and lubricated the moving parts with a little dry silicone spray
c) and then wiped down and inspected the foil and put a (VERY, VERY) little
dry silicone in the groove
d) and checked line carefully for any fraying or wear...

and the little sucker isn't spinning like a charm...

You are allowed to go out and buy a big, bright, shiny, brand new one ! (Tell your Significant Other the rules say so).
