Does anyone know where I can get new drums or has anyone ever heard of sleaving the roller bearing surface for older (pre 1992, ocean series or even older?)
lewmar winches.
I have a pair of std. 30''s that are perfect except that the alumm. berg. surface inside the drum is worn. It seems that that
lewmar used the alum. as a race. It appears that is is worn around .030 to .040. The drums rock quite a bit. There is a .040 step where the brngs. don''t ride inside the drum.
Any help would be very appreciative.
