Aw c'mon here in Maine we have a full six months to work on our boats! How do you think all those beautiful Hinckley's & Morris's got so shiny and fresh.. I rarely do major cleaning or work during the sailing season and do 90% of it in the off season..

i have to say i'm jealous. i got just back from a day of cleaning the bilge and it doesn't look half as good as yours, and that's with a fresh coat of paint on it.

I actually did clean up my bilge last weekend using diluted chlorox and brush. Was pretty happy and impressed with results as stains get bleach and I can see the bottom of the white bilge until I see what Halek did for his bilge ......"my ballon deflated"

Professional? Wow Jody thanks for the compliment even if it was tongue in cheek!!! It's strictly a hobby and I do have a real job to support my sailing habit...

I all honesty that photo was cropped to hide some of my tools and crap stuffed on the settees...
