RC8D Impeller and other parts
I don't know if you were able to solve your waterpump problem but I found a very good source for replacement parts. I recently had to replace my cylinder head. Of course with the head, were also new valves, valve springs, spring retainers, poppets and a head gasket. I also ordered new push rods.
The sales end of the business is in England and their engineer lives in France.
I found the company to be very responsive and very helpfully. This is my first boat with adiesel engine so I was really at their mercy.
I paid for my shipment via PayPal which is a very secure method. The people that your dealing with never see you credit card credentials or account numbers.
To make a long story short, they shipped the assembly from France via Air Mail. When it reached the U.S. it was turned over to DHL for delivery from NY City to Fort Myers Fl. The dropped the carton several time and by the time it arrived at my door the valves were ejected from the head and one of them was bent to the extent it wouldn't work. The other valve, if bent, was only slightly.
I took digital photos and sent them to England via e-mail. 2 days later, replacement valves and a new head gasket were sent at their expense.
They initialized the claim with the carrier, I didn't have to do anything other than supply the photos. In other words, I reccommend them highly.
