Funny Furuno Radar Operation

Si I finally got around to shaking down my Furuno radar this weekend. Everything worled fine with one minor "glitch". Everything was in reverse. Targates on the port side showed up on starboard and vice-versa. Targets forward showed up aft and vice-versa. I'm sure I'm doing something stupid. Went through all the set up steps and nothing! I'll call Furuno tomorrow but was wondering if any here could shed some light on the issue.

You probably had it in the wrong display mode as the Furno has Head-Up, Course-Up, True Motion and North-Up modes, where you in head-up mode?. OR: see this:LINK

and just in case it doesn't still:

Question
My radar is showing targets in the wrong place (i.e. the buoy in front of the boat is showing on the radar as a target behind the boat). My compass heading input is correct and the radar is in head-up mode. How do I correct this?
Answer
All radars require a heading alignment upon installation of the radar antenna. Refer to your installation manual for the proper procedure in completing this adjustment. Once you complete the heading alignment the targets should show in the correct places.

source is from their tech support site - narrow down to radar and then display as keyword.

All great suggestions, thanks guys.
Art - That's probably it. I'll look at the installation manual again for the setup. We're usually in CU mode but tried the others also.
TDW- I have an 1824C display.
