A Lotta Useful Stuff at the Site

I'm not normally talkative. This post is because I need to send a response to another Sailnet member and got a popup about not being able to send private messages unless I had 10 posts. Sorry.

I included a link to my personal website that shows the construction of my grandfather's very unusual sailboat reputed to go 60 miles an hour, the Herreshoff 15 that I built with my brother in my backyard, and the Peterson 44 that I am currently rebuilding, but I got another popup saying that I could not post with a "link". Sorry again. If you Google "svAzura" my site will be the first to come up.

All I'm trying to do is give good information to another member.

John..

Only two more posts and you can post links, pictures and have all the privileges.

If you respond to this post with "cool" then you'll only need one more..

Azura - Your site is beyond words. Your workmanship is extraordinary and your love of the water is evident everywhere. You also have some VERY good friends. Kudos to one with "passion".

There is a sail boat that will do 60 kts, It is call an ice boat. those are extremely fast. Sailing on cold hard water (frozen water). Makes those catamarans look slower then molasses on a cold winter day.

Azura, very nicely done. Entertaining site and great work all around... I especially liked the first class refit on the Peterson 44. Best of luck. BobS/V Restless

Great site! It's obvious you've put a lot of work into it, not to mention the boat!!

Top notch refit, very interesting. Any idea how many man-hours you have in on the Peterson?
