Its been my experience that you pretty much get what you pay for with boat yards. If you want to go cheap then don't expect to get treated very well. Don't expect things to get done on time. Don't expect extraordinary workmanship and certainly don't expect to leave the yard under budget.

Yup, there is almost always that partial skeleton of a wood boat that has been there for ages with a sad story behind it. More often than not, those boats seem to end up in dumpsters. Too bad most cannot be saved.
