deflated dinghy

I was given an old dinghy and have had to patch it several times already. Has anyone ever tried to fill a dinghy with that expandable foam stuff - like the Fix-a-Flat used for flat tires? Do you think it would work and how would you do it?

Fix-a_Flat is not foam and does not work on tires, much less a leaky dingy. For tires, use a product called Slime. For dingys use... money. I had one given to me that I put about 20 patches on and sold it for $200. New owner was hapily using it last time I heard.

West used to sell some stuff you poured into the tubes and then rotated the dink to put the coating on all parts of the tube. Worked for a few months for me.
