Traveler track

I have a 1989 Hunter30, and the traveler was move to the top of cabin. The sheaves on the cars are breaking up due to the sun. The track is 1 3/8" X 1 3/8" which is convave across the top. Does anybody know who would be the maker.

Since the traveler is an after-market modification, it would help if you had a photo of it. You might want to read the post in my signature to help you get more out of sailnet...and you'll need 10 posts to link to an external photo, which is usually the easiest way to post a photo on sailnet.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

does the traveler car have any name or markings on it?

try looking at shaefer or harken catalog on line to see if the you can match the car to one of their stock items. lewmar makes travelers too.

are you sure the boat did not come standard with a cabin to mounted traveler? if so, just call Hunter.
