Fresh water bottom paint

Is there a fresh water bottom paint? Do I need to keep up the bottom paint if I pull it out after every sail?

If you dry sail the boat, and store it out of the water when not actually sailing it... you shouldn't need to have bottom paint on it.

If you're dry sailing the boat I wouldn't put any paint on it. If you want to leave it in the water for extended periods of time I've had good luck with VC17. The biggest problem with freshwater is algea/slime.
