For my transducer they recommended painting with a water based antifouling paint if left in salt water. For freah water. do not paint.

I painted mine with Transducer paint. It comes in a little container with a brush. Why would you not?

I hauled out earlier this year and they painted the new Ray Marine ST 60+ transducers. You can use a brush and can or there is a spray paint available
