Help!! I am sinking..(i screwed up)

OK i admit it.. i was in the process of repairing blisters on the hull of my San Juan 7.7 and the little rasp on my drill penetrated the hull. Yep I drilled a hole in my boat!!!!
the the whole is concave - tappering to a to a point smaller than a dime - the actual "hole". My intention was to grind out the blisters - let dry fill with west systems epaxy and filler etc etc... but now I have a different problem and I just plane need some advise -

How do i fix this hole. it is on the stern just forward of the rudder post. Like I said, smaller than a dime. the fberglass is no more than 1/2" thick at this particular spot.

any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Gil

The textbook way to repair a hole in a high stress area is to grind out the area to a flat taper, (slope sides 3 or more times the depth of the hole)and build up fiberglass cloth and epoxy. If the hole that size was somewhere else than right in front of the rudder you might have gotten by with just thickened and reinforced epoxy on a hole that small.
