Saab Engine

A friend of mine recently purchased a 6hp Saab engine and had it cleaned up and is now installing it in his boat. He has searched everywhere for a manual (they don't make this engine anymore) and has been unsuccessful. He recently approached me for help, but I can't say as though I know anything about them and thought I would try here. So- does anyone have any particulars about this engine? Or any thoughts on how I might go about getting any? Like I said, he already contacted Saab, and they had nothing for him. I think it is 6hp, might be 8hp, Saab, diesel. That's all the information he was able to give me. Thanks!
