We were happy with the quality we got from boatletteringdesign.com, though their online interface isn't the easiest to work with.

I've used West Marine. Lots of options and good fast service. You can download the info brochure and order form from the website. Since BoatUS and WM stores are now the same, I would guess it's the same service from both.

I'll also recommend BoatUS for basic lettering. The quality is excellent and they were delivered three days after placing the online order.

I had very good results with a "Fastsigns" store near my house. It is a franchise and they have locations all over. I like doing business with a local guy for much the same reasons I use a local sail loft. I get to see and touch the materials before the lettering is made and I get more control over the finished product.
