I want to replace some of the bilge hose in my boat.
I have some of the 1 1/2" ID Shields Series 148 vinyl sanitation hose available.
Would this be recommended as bilge hose. I see in the West marine catalog that the product description states "Excellent for critical bilge, drain, scupper
line and potable water fill applications. It is clearly not usable in pressurized water applications.
Is this positve view supported by the Sailnet community?
