Mantis Bimini?

I've been thinking about purchasing one of these folding biminis. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with them and are they worth fooling with. My boat has a roomy enough cockpit but the traveler is mounted on a bridge deck just aft of the companionway hatch, leaving little room for a traditional bimini. I thought this would be a nice compromise.
Pro-Techt Mantis Top, Pro-Tech Mantis Umbrella, Protecht Mantis Cover, Protech Canopy

Any one have any thoughts?

No experience with the Mantis, but it looks like more trouble than it's worth.

My traveler is also mounted on a bridge deck just aft of the companionway. I found a short (4 foot) Taylor ready-made bimini that fit between my mainsheet and backstay. It works great. Total cost was under $200 including frame, boot, and all hardware.

Thanks, that sounds like the way to go. That thing doesn't come in any colors that match other stuff on the boat anyway.
