The problem with the assymetrical is where to store the thing! I would appreciate someone developing a vacuum bag for the chute so that its size can be reduced for storage as we do with extra blankets and cold weather clothing. On my boat the bag for the sail stands taller than my wife.

I sail mainly alone. So it took me quite a while to dare setting the simetric spinnaker. At the beguinning it's a bit of a harrass, yes. But it is such a nice sensation and now it is one of my favourite things in sailing and I allways look forward to the opportunity to set is up.

Now a sailing day without setting the chute is not a full day.
