Water lift muffler question

I have a 1980 Pearson 323 with the original Volvo MD 11c engine (23 hp). Does anyone know what type/size of water lift muffler came stock on the boat? I know the existing one is wrong because some previous owner had to jury rig the exhaust hose to make it work (ran the 2 hose into a 1.5 inlet on the muffler). It looks like I should use a muffler with a 2 inlet and a 1.5 outlet. I know Centek makes one of these. Thanks.

On my MD17c, (the three cylinder version) there is a combined muffler/separator, made from stainless. It has a 7.6 litre capacity. The hoses are 50 mm.

Perhaps that will help.

The size of your Waterlift should come from you HP engine (sizing i/o diam.for better flow) and capacity to hold your water exhaust that would sit inside the hose, returning back to the engine after you shuttoff. Look for Vetus waterlocks, as they also have a big line, and very good reputation.
