raymarine Windvane

Hello all, I have a Beneteau 361 99 and its not equipped with a wind vane. I'd really like to get one and was looking at wireless, however today I changed the anchor light and found there is some sort of fitting pointing forward at the top of the mast. It looks like a sig lighter in the car with a cap on it, perhaps just plug a vane in ? anyone help trying to find if this is indeed a fitting for it and if its linked to the network ? I see a ton of cables coming off the mast but not sure which is which.

any ideas appreciated
Gaute

it could be for a wind meter... (for knot display in your cockpit).
or maybe it's for charging your phone

Here's are pictures of a Raymarine mast top connector and the connector on the vane that connects into the mast top connector.

IMG_2796 is the part that goes on the mast, IMG_2799 is the connector on the end of the vane assembly.

thanks Quickstep, I dont think thats what mine looks like. I dont think it had the threads on it like this one does... I didnt look too closely inside but that might give a clue too, lastly mine was quite a bit smaller. I'll take a picture of it and see if I can post it on here but I'm saving your pics so I can compare next time I'm up there
