Towed Alternator?

Anybody ever use one of these things?
I came across the drawing in Modern Boat Maintenance, edited by Bo Streiffert and originally published in Sweden by Johnston Co-Editions, Gothenburg. The book makes no mention of any commercial outlet.
Seems to me it'd be pretty efficient on a (fast) multihull.

Some of the wind generators can also be used as water generators, by lowering the tower and switching the blades. Duogen comes to mind as one brand.

I suppose it depends what sort of fish you're trying to catch.. I'm told that sharks aren't fussy but some larger sport-fish think they're very tasty... Trouble is, the line usually breaks and they get away.

Most people use wind or solar which doesn't tend to attract the same attention... :)

Simon is using one I believe, no idea what brand but I remember him mentioning it in his trip thread.

A guy who solo circumnavigated a PSC Orion towed the one that I posted. In four years he never lost a fish.
