Boat Yard Needed

Does anyone know of a boat yard in the Houston area (Clear Lake, Galveston etc..) with haul out facilities for 18 tons, where the yard will rent space and allow owner renovations?

I believe it's called South Texas Boatyard. It's right by Watergate Marina.

Thanks John I'll check it out.... unfortunately the boat we were looking at needs a little more than just TLC :-( and will probably need to spend a few months out of the water if we can get it here.

Rockter will become famous soon enough
That's where I hauled in 1992. They had a travel lift and they park you on the concrete. I found them to be helpful and competent. They let you do your own stuff, and they will help with the stuff you cannot manage. They had to strengthen my ships rudder. It's still going strong, 15 years later.

I think the guy that ran it was a Mr.McBride.

We stayed on the hard for about 6 weeks, to get the boat ready to come home.

If it hasn't changed too much, it's a good show.

Get ready for serious humidity and blazing heat. You will neeed an a/c on there or you will die.
