caribbean maintenance costs

Hi all,
can someone tell me what the hailyard and maintenance prices are in the caribbean region are and also the quality of work done? I have a beneteau M-405 and plan to sail for 5 years in the caribbean area.

Pricing differs from Trinidad to Grenada to St. Thomas and Fajardo. Around the VI, it''s generally $11.00/foot/month for yard storage, usually including bowsprits. Hence, your boat will run at least $450/mo. plus haul, washdown, launch, mast step. You''re probably going to wind up in Trinidad or the South end of Grenada, since your insurance company will eliminate leaving the boat between around 23N and 12N. I think Trinidad storage might be cheaper. Professional yard work varies with what''s being done, but here I think they charge $35/hr. for basic labor and upwards for engine, welding, stainless fabrication, sailwork, etc. KW
