building a cradle
 

My C-24 needs a patch on the bottom of the keel and it is now on a trailer.What's the best way to build a cradle that I can pull the trailer through and out from under the boat? I'm considering modified adjustable metal posts that would be used to support floor joists in a house or going over the top with lumber and a sling then bracing from below. thanks
