Spot cleaner for teak
I haven't read through all 101 pages, so this may be posted somewhere else. Sorry if it is.
If you have a teak deck, and you clean a fish, spill a glass of red wine, the kids spill their grape kool-aid, or whatever, here's a way to get the stain out without a lot of work.
Get a spray can of a spot-dry cleaner called K2R. I've had pretty good luck finding it at Walgreens.
Spray the stuff on the stain. It goes on as liquid, and drys to a powder. Let the stuff dry completely. That may be a while. If it's nighttime and damp, you may even have to wait until morning.
Anyway, when the stuff has turned to a dry power, you can vacuum it up and the stain will be gone.
Seems to work with just about everything nasty I've ever seen spilled on deck, including a bit of blue two-stroke oil.
Cheers!
