Need A New Head Tank

Well my parents called and they have a crack in the head tank on our boat. here is a picture of what we have (toilet sits right on top of tank) I am wondering where we can get a new tank, the existing tank could be fixed but would rather start fresh with a new tank.

Thanks Scott

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

How about:

It's by Sealand and costs < $400. It comes as a single unit with a 1.5" outlet for pumpout. Connects to fresh water system, which is recommended for reduced aroma. Just a thought.

yeah i seen those and a good suggestion but the base is to large for the flat spot it needs to sit on.

If u get one fabricated...
-welded polyethelene is reported to always crack at the welds eventually
-molded poly... you have to pay for a mould if u need custom
-stainless is the best if you have to get one made, but another metal object if u are concerned about lightning.

What about making a tank out of epoxy and fibreglass cloth? Thats what i plan on doing for my boat since i want to mount the tank above the waterline in the locker that is behind the head. My reason for this is to have the shortest possible hose runs. I can give up the space in that locker since i dont use it.

Oh yeah. I forgot about that material.
People have commonly used that too.
Not sure of the pitfalls with that (smell comes thru sooner?). Maybe the best compromise.
