Use a plastic "razor blade". They're pretty much designed for this situation and probably won't damage the Lexan. They sell them at West Marine, among other places. Same shape and size as a single edge razor basically, and does much the same as the single edge razor in terms of scraping, with far less potential for damage.

I have Lexan ports also and had the same problem - but the mess was made by me. Use a plastic scraper and gently get all you can with that. Then use either Goo-Gone or WD40 to remove what's left - neither of those products will hurt plastic or Lexan.

Yes, stay away from solvent based cleaners like acetone, lacquer thinner, etc. They'll eat Lexan alive!
