Annapolis Bottom Cleaning

Two questions...

How often should I be doing this? Who should I use?

Sally and her husband do a good job. Call Annapollis Landing Marina to get her #. How often depends on the paint. I only had her do the boat and check the zincs in the Fall before leaving for points South

How often = it depends. On the Chesapeake, a general rule (if you're not racing) would be every month or two. If you're racing -- as often as every week isn't unheard of.

We are on a mooring in shallow water, so our bottom seems to get dirty faster than the boats nearby that are in deep water slips, where there also happens to be more flushing. Another variable is how often you use the boat. More use = less growth.

Sally and her husband do a good job, but they are about 2.5X what our diver charged us. Unfortunately, our diver went away to finish her grad school. Instead of a diver, we now do a quick haul in the travellift and a powerwash.
