So, here I'm sitting down writing after a day of drilling holes and removing rotten core... Whomever owned the boat before, f... you very much for all your efforts to keep the boat leaking...
Well, I'm going back there tomorrow to fill more holes with resin and slide in more steel rebars (I'm an architect I know what I'm doing, I think

)
Here is a good f....ng question who, in their right mind would use auto weathering and house insulation foam to install fixed portlights? I have to admit he tried, but didn't succeed...
Here are some questions;
There is about an inch or inch and a half bolt frame on the hull(it's not an actual frame but just a thickened edge to bolt the plexiglass portholes on) you are probably thinking I'm about to ask how to install fixed portlights, but no; I did my homework on that... The question is that what can I use to cover that 1-1.5 inch edge from inside? I thought about cutting a thin piece of wood to build a frame, but too much work unless i really have to...
ANY ideas?
I want to get rid of the wood covered with vinyl ceiling covers, but I'm wondering if there is a reason behind them..? ANY comments?
Other than that yours truly, still on ground, itching from sanding fg, sticky from applying resin and happy on working on the POS that every s/v owner thinks that it was a bad idea
