Quick vs Lofrans windlass

So we are at the point where we need to make a decision on the windlass for our Passport 40. We've pretty much decided on a vertical, capstan/gypsy, 1500-1700w power range.
The Quick Argos has a nice cover plate over the chain hawse that clears out of the way easily so as to make chain removal from the qypsy really easy and clean. Our other options is a Lofrans Progress 1500. Not sure if the cover plate is as cleanly removed on this unit.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these brands pro or con?
Thanks in advance.
