Sea Gear Stove
 
I have a older model two burner propane stove onboard that needs a replacement burner. The stove is labled SEA GEAR, and is the European Subcompact size. THe boat is originaly from South Africa, so it is doubtful the stove comes from the Americas. However the boat cruised for many years in the Carrabbeian, so the stove may be known on this side of the Atlantic.

The burner works fine, it is just the automatic thermo couple is inoperative, leaving the stove somewhat dangerious to have onboard. We always shut off the fuel at the tank whenever the stove is not in immediate use.

Has anyone heard of this gear? Any thoughts on a replacement burner? Overall the stove is in excellent shape with no rust. I would hate to replace the entire stove because of one burner.

Any thoughts appreciated.
