refurbishing problems

Hey ya''ll. I am a brand new boat owner. I have loved boats and water since i was young. I am now 18 yrs. old, and i have bought a boat to live on while in college. I am trying to redo the entire boat. She is definitely a fixer-upper; the only problem i have is that i have no knowledge of what she was like new! If anyone has any suggestions or any help whatsoever. Or even any encouragement, i would love to hear from you. Thanks, by the way, my boat is a 1975 Bayliner Bucaneer!!

Try signing up for the Sailnet email lists for both Bayliner and Buccaneer boats. There should be a button to the left that says "Join E-Mail Lists." Click on that and sign up for those two lists, then ask your questions there. Those folks should have the best answers for your questions. And good luck! It''ll be a lot of work no doubt, but ultimately very rewarding.

Hello,I have owned 2 Buccaneers, I live aboard a 1976 270 that I have redone. I am adding a link with boat pics. I have modified a number of things. If you go to MSN to the communities page and type in buccaneer sailing sloops in the search box you will find the owners club message boards with links to bucc websites. hope this helps.
