I would guess that if the transducer connected to a Raymarine device that it is a Raymarice transducer? Regardless, it is conceivable that the transducer could plug into a device that could output NMEA. I suggest you call whoever made the transducer and ask. Its unlikely, but you never know.
Its also possible that you could get a new fish finder that outputs NMEA.
I understand not wanting to replace the transducer, since it is the thru hull type.
