Julie-

Check the Good Old Boat magazine website. They have a listing of consignment shops. www.goodoldboat.com

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Thanks! I did check Good Old Boat but they didn't have much listed for Floridas west coast. I'm driving from Atlanta to Ft. Myers and thought it would be fun to check out the consignment shops on the way down.

I posted several here on sailnet in the Tampa area as well as all over the east & west coasts. Do a search for used equipment.

Here it is:Used parts sources

Don't know which ones are consignment and which are just used or overstock but it's worth a look.

It isn't the west coast, but Sailorman in Ft. Liquordale has a top reputation and a large and loyal clientele. Could be worth the trip--or the postage.

I stopped in sailorman and wasn't too impressed.

Marine Connection Liquidators in Ft. Pierce had an impressive inventory of everything. But their good stuff was not cheap. I doubt they do consignment, just salvage and liquidations.

I stopped into one in Nokomis, Florida last year. Small but they have been around for awhile.
