Looking For a Rigger (Boston, MA)

I am new to the area and wanted to know of some trusting riggers that might come to take a look at my boat before I head south. So far I have called three companies that cannot see me for weeks and I need to address a few things by the end of next week. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Try these Guys:
The Marine Rigging Group. I found them on Google Maps. I think they are on the south shore somewhere but I am in Boston. I called them to fix my Catalina 36 rigging and they were there within 24 hours, fixed the problem and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. I can't really speak for many other riggers in the area but these guys are top notch...

I live in Maine and use Kevin Montague at North East Rigging in Concord, MA. He does great work and is competitively priced. He also does the rigging and assembling of new spars for a few builders in RI..

If Kevin does not work out Jay Malone of Maloney rigging in Boothbay, Maine is excellent but far away.

I had Kevin make up the new standing rigging for me last year and his turn around was excellent as was his price. I also purchased a new Harken furler from him and he walked me through the assembly and gave me a few "tricks of the trade"..

I have dealt with Jay Maloney at Maloney Marine Rigging (http://www.maloneymarinerigging.com/index.php), and he's good, but he's pretty far from Boston.

I have dealt with Jake Pendlebury at Marblehead Trading Company (http://www.marbleheadtrading.com/main.html), and he's good, but he's probably booked solid with mast unsteppings and haulouts right now.

I have not dealt with Kevin Montague of Northeast Rigging, but have heard other strong recommendations like that above.

Northeast Rigging did a great job for us on Nantucket. I strongly recommend them. We purchased all new standing rigging last year and fit perfect while stepping the mast.

Thanks for all of the help. I contacted the Marine Rigging Group and they drove up from Duxbury the same day, assessed everything I needed and came back today to complete the job. What a nice and professional guy.
