Broken stay on a daysailer

Hello,

while sitting on her mooring the starboard stay on my 17 foot daysailer broke. I assume it much have been frayed or corroded and I did not notice. Is there any way to fix this or does it need to be replaced? If it need to be replaced is there a good online place to buy parts?

CaptMike-

If the starboard stay broke, I'd highly recommend replacing all of the standing rigging, as it is all pretty suspect at this point. HOME is a good place to buy stuff on-line.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

You keep a 17' boat on a mooring?
