Inboard motors in Freezing Weather

We live in Pensacola Florida and do not typically get freezing temperatures for days. Is there anything I should do to prevent the engine from freezing or will the water temperature that the boat is sitting in keep it from freezing? I hate to sound like a total idiot....but we haven''t ran across this type of weather since we''ve had our boat. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
