wanted - paddle wheel for SL45

I NEED URGENTLY a new paddle wheel for an SL45 and Std Horizon don't supply them anymore according to the Australian (Perth) agent I used. Can anyone advise where I might get one please.

Hi - many thanks to Westwind for reponding. I am not eligable yet to send you a PM so no photo ! The wheel has 8 quite flat blades (looks like a classic waterwheel !) is 26 mm - one inch - from tip to tip of blades across the centrepoint, two of the blades have (had) small magnets set into the tips. The wheel is 18mm or 3/4 inch wide. The spindle is about 2mm diameter.
Much appreciate this.

David-

Be aware that most of the transducers, at least in the United States are made by AIRMAR, and that the part that WELSHWIND pointed out will work in many models, even though it may not look the same as the OEM part. It says in the ad copy that it works in a Standard SL45 transducer, and is probably worth trying for the $20.

You know what the first rule of sailing is? ...Love. You can learn all the math in the 'verse, but you take
a boat to the sea you don't love, she'll shake you off just as sure as the turning of the worlds. Love keeps
her going when she oughta fall down, tells you she's hurting 'fore she keens. Makes her a home.

Many thanks to all who responded - what a great forum this is !!! I have found that the Navman paddle wheels are compatible with the Standard Communications SL45 speed log. Hope this helps others out there who can't get parts for their SC SL45 and thanks again to those who offered assistance.
