Question Winterizing Yanmar & Velvet Drive

This will be the first year I have winterized my boat and I have too simple things I haven't figured out.

First, how do I drain the fresh water coolant out of the engine (Yanmar 4JH2E) to replace it. I can't find anything in the manuel about which valve to use as a drain.

Second, do I simply pump the ATF out of the Velvet Drive dipstick or do I have to drain it some other way?

TIA

k1vsk will become famous soon enough
Look at the Yanmarhelp.com site for specific directions and pictures.

There are four drains, two on either side. Look for the petcocks which usually have clear plastic hoses attached to drain into the engine sump. You will also need to drain the water heater core and associated hoses and avoid air entrainment when refilling.

Try this one
Yanmar Marine Engine Help

It's pretty limited and probably won't answer your questions
