Hunter 33 1991 Gelcoat cracks

Attached are pictures of a boat we are looking at.
Are the gel coat cracks repairable or is this boat just so lightly made it will continue to be a problem?

They are repairable IMHO - you'll just have to glass in some re-enforcement under the areas where you are getting multiple spider cracks (such as by the chainplates...)...The spidering effect is result of stress fractures.

The smaller that are non spidering - you should be able to patch up and no big deal. The hairline fractures are usually expanded with time due to weather and generally do pose a significant underlying issue.

I agree with Jody, perhaps do some backup plates or make sure the rigging is adjusted, but for a 1991, those don't look bad at all..

all the best.
