Aquaply M bottom coating
Looking at redoing the bottom paint on our H28 (mahogany plank).
I've come across this Aquaply M coating -
Aquaply M is an environmentally safe (clean water act, clean air act, water pollution control act compliant) epoxy barrier coating for use in the Marine Industry. It is a permanent bottom coating for pleasure and work boats. It contains no pesticides or algaecides.
Aquaply M provides a lubricated surface containing NO metals.
There have been a few government studies using this with positive results - but I can't find any personal feedback.
Has anyone used or tried this on a wood hull? They claim it will work no problem and actually can use it to fill aswell.
