final winter oil change...
OK, so I changed the oil in my Yanmar thinking its the last sail of the season, etc. even made a short video...
that said, the weather is still nice - and I want to get in a few more sails.
understandably we change our oil at end of season to ensure we have fresh, sweet oil that is carbon and acid free so our little engines can rest in peace over the winter.
if i use my motor a few more times for say 2-3 hours total before putting her to rest, do you think the amount of oil contamination (carbon/acids) would be negligible?
