Tanaka Outboard

I am thinking of buying a Tanaka 3 HP outboard to mount on the Tiller of my Sea Pearl 21. I am looking for feedback on this motor. Since it is air cooled I am wondering if it can take a good splash without stalling. I haven''t found any reviews on this engine on-line.
