Catalina 22 centerboard question

Does anyone have any experience with replacing a drop keel for a Cat 22? Mine is a seventies vintage, given to me, and in pretty good shape, but...it's missing the drop keel. Not sure if I can purchase one or not, and if not, I'll have to build one. I will need some technical specs to pull this off so I can be sailing by spring. Ideas?
Thanks, phil from nantucket

Look for donated or "free" boats and convince the owner to part it out.
