Fiberglass propane tanks

Does anyone have any experience with fiberglass propane tanks? I am going to install a new propane system on my boat this Thanksgiving and I am looking for a good tank. Also, I want to make one continuous gas line through the deck, I'm mounting the tank on the aft end, any suggestions an what type of seal to use through the deck? The wires for the solenoid would also have to pass through the deck.

Plumbers putty makes an airtight seal and retains flexibility around the hose and allows for easy removal.

I have had composite LPG tanks on my boat and for my BBQ grill at home for over a year now. They're excellent.

They make gas-tight passthrough connectors for lpg line, which is what you should be using for any bulkheads and from the propane locker.

A cable clam would work for the wires.
