Exhaust hose fitting question

I am replacing a very short section of 1.5" exhaust hose on my Fischer Panda AC generator. The section is only 6" long and runs vertically between the heat exchanger and the metal exhaust exit inside the soundproof case. Because it is such a short section of hose, it does not bend much. Does anyone have a good easy way to get the new hose on both ends without taking apart half the generator? I can't get the hose over the lip on either the upper or lower fitting due to the fact that it is off to the side too much overlapping the other fitting. Here is a depiction of how it should fit:

boil it in hot water for a minute...

Don't boil it... that can cause the hose to deform permanently... do pour hot water over it...

Yeah, SD is probably right for the wire hose. Temp range for Shields exhaust hose with wire is -20 to 200F. The no-wire stuff says intermittent at 250F is ok. But the silicone stuff max temp is 350F.
