Replacing lines

Would like to replace my outhaul & reefing lines.
I have a 38'' Irwin CC with approx. 342 Sq. feet of mainsail. Would like ideas on line size and makeup of line to use.
Have been reading Sailnet, BoatUS & West Marine Catalogs. Although helpful I''m still undecided.
Now I am looking for info. from the real sailors out there that have done this.

You should be fine with almost any 3/8" or 7/16" polyester double braid. I would consider doubling the cover at the reef cringles, reef turning blocks and at the cleats where chafe is at its greatest.

Located the original sheet on what Irwin recommends.
Will be going with that recommendation and the double braided polyester that you suggest.
