Catalina 27 bilge pump

The boat I just purchased has a bildge pump installed, but not the proper wiring or the dumping tube.

Is there a way to hardwire this through the hull? It doesn't appear that there is room for the tube underneath the floor to run out the back. Currently, you have to hook the wiring and the tube up each time you want to evacuate water. This doesn't seem like a fix to me and I don't like having bare wires laying on the floor.

Try asking the guys on the Catalina forums at Sailboatowners.com and Trailerssailor.com. They should be able to describe the bilge pump setup on your boat.

Why would anyone want to run wiring through the hull? You mean out into the water?

No, I mis-spoke. I meant underneath the floor, not through the actual hull of the boat.
