washdown hose

I put away the garden hose today and it made me remember that the wash down hoses I've used for the boats I've crewed on all seem a little wanting.

Anyone have the perfect hose?

I find the tightly coiled hoses you can get at the garden store work great for this purpose and are easily stowed.
They have it in both 25 an 50ft. lengths.

I agree with Cam. I have one of these that stores in a little area within the anchor locker. At only 25 feet, I find it doesn't reach to the back of the boat, but it sure does well when washing the muck off the anchor.

I also carry some regular garden hose to get some extra reach, and to use when at a slip.
