So Ed, are you paying Sailnet for this free advertising, not even to mention how you''ve spammed these messages boards?

To the rest of you, please remember that Sailnet offers excellent sails and service through AirForce Sails. I have one of their asymmetricals and love it. I''m sure Quantam could not beat the Sailnet price either.

Well said Mitch,
Most of the asym''s sold by sailnet are generic off the shelf products designed for various boat lengths that would sure explain the value. Great for 90% of us.
By the way does anyone know what happened to the experts at sailnet? Have any of the experts ever installed a furler,SSB,or any of the products they sell? When sailnet consolidated the experts were discarded as well. If you think this is bogus just call and ask.
I should know, I''m a former expert now discarded. Best of luck to my faithful following of seasoned sailors and friends.
Even you Denr...

Sorry to hear of your plight H2O nut, look at this way, you''ll have more time to go sailing, who needs a stinking job? By the way, which group do I fall into "Friends or "Seasoned Sailors"?

Denr;
Thanks for the note; I''m a little disapointed that I''ll not see you again in Chicago this year. This may be the first time we''ve agreed on a topic, I do need to go sailing. Don''t we all. Your right about working though, the wind blows free.

I''ll still be posting my opinions on this site and will miss the day to day conversations with some really good people.

Denr, about the friends question.
I think you know the answer
Maximum respect mon.

Post note;
I''m cool it''s my former clients I worry about.

Stay in touch!

Post Post Note:

Denr; I consider you a seasoned friend.
I haven''t forgotten your invitation for a sail in Chicago. Have you finished your season?

I''m now in Charleston but my offer still stands. Will sailing on a fat bottomed girl, Hudson 51 offend your sense of decorum?
I''ll even let you steer.

Thanks again seasoned friend.

So Waternut, are you saying that Sailnet got you to move to Charleston, and then let you go?

That is correct, SailorMitch, as my friend Denr said it''s only a job. Challston is a pretty cool town with lots of sailing ops.

It''s my naivte to blame, so much for hand shakes and promises. It''s a darn shame when one can''t trust employers/friends. No big deal the Waternut may take Denr''s advice.
(For the first time ever) "When in doubt just go sailing"

Thanks again to all my loyal clients and friends. You know who you are.
Bon Voyage and "see" you on the boards..

Sorry to hear that, Waternut. That does stink. Best of luck to you. And yep, sailing is a tonic to soothe such things. I hope it works out for you. Fair winds and smooth seas. And I still plan to get pics of Denr with Frank Butler at the Annapolis show.

Thanks SailorMitch, means alot. I think Mr.B is a little too discriminating for such an incriminating photo op.

If it should happen I''d love a copy. I''ve spent some time with Frank still haven''t met Denr.

Aloha
